Boston, The Liberty Hotel

So Everyone knows that Boston is one of the greatest Cities to visit on the East coast, but it depends on where you go in Boston, and the Liberty Hotel is one of my favorite places to stay when visiting Boston.

Even if you aren't staying at the Liberty, it is definitely the place to go for drinks and to meet a ton of people. There are four clubs/bars that you can visit at the Liberty, you can grab a quick drink at the champagne bar, or grab some dinner at Clink. The accomodations are beautiful and luxurious and are extremely comfortable.

Another one of my favorite things about Boston is the farmers market near Hay Market Square. Here you will find the most amazing fruits and vegetables at a great price.

Harbour Island

Harbour Island, Bahamas

Another one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to, a far cry from Dorset, but not when it comes to relaxation and beauty. Harbour Island is one of the smallest Islands in the Bahamas, about 1-2 miles long and very remote. This is a place my Dad and I go to relax and enjoy the sun, it is so gorgeous and very little commercialization and technology, probably one of the best parts!

Riding horseback on the beach is one of the many exciting activities they have to offer, along with snorkeling, boating, sailing, and just relaxing on one of the most famous beaches, Pink Sand Beach.

Please Visit Harbour Island, but don't bring phones, laptops, or any other kind of technology, you don't need it and it isn't appreciated. Bring an appetite for delicious carribbean cuisine, a bathing suit, and some sunscreen and your all set!

Home Away From Home

So after seeing other blogs and realizing that maybe mine needs a little help, I decided to make it a blog about different locations in the world and places that I have visited and loved. Feel free to add on places you have visited and loved and definitely visit some of the places I put up here as well...they are great spots!

Home Sweet Home

So, Dorset...probably one of the most boring towns for a teenager to grow up in, but probably one of the best towns for a person to grow up in. Dorset is a small town in Southern Vermont full of old country Inns, one country store, and a few antique stores here and there. Dorset is best known for its quarries, a summer hot spot for teenagers and families. The winding roads and quaint feel of the country club and local people are what I love most about this town.

I have lived in Dorset since I was born and as much as I said I didn't like it, I couldn't truly appreciate it until I was about to leave for College. Home is the best place in the world and Dorset is truly a great place to grow up and enjoy Vermont.

Hiking, biking, tennis, golf, running, breakfast on the green, farmers market, christmas trees everywhere, friends, family, pumpkins, coffee, playhouse...all things that remind me of growing up in Dorset.

Anyone been there? If not you should go!
